Norway’s Pharmaceutical Wholesale Tender Targets Nationwide Distribution

On 15 October, Norway published the G2029 pharmaceutical wholesale procurement on behalf of regional health authorities and other participating organisations. The procurement covers distribution of medicines and pharmacy products to hospital pharmacies, health trusts and other eligible healthcare providers, with an estimated value of NOK 90 billion excluding VAT. Wholesalers, manufacturers and logistics providers need demand forecasting, stock management and distribution analytics to support nationwide supply operations. The NOK 90 billion estimate relates to the procurement programme rather than a single supplier’s confirmed revenue or a standalone logistics contract.
